Terms of use
These terms apply to the use of Sombook. We've tried to write them in plain language — not legalese. If you have questions you're welcome to contact us at hei@sombook.no.
The Norwegian version is the legally binding version.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to everyone who uses Sombook — whether as a clinic owner, employee or end user via a clinic's booking page.
«Sombook» means the service operated by Sombook AS, company registration number [ORG.NR], with address [ADRESSE], Oslo.
Subscription and payment
Sombook offers a monthly subscription at NOK 390 ex. VAT per clinic. Payment is charged monthly from the registered payment card or by invoice.
The price may be adjusted with 30 days' notice. Any price changes are communicated by email to the registered email address.
The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Cancellation can be made at any time and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Trial period
New users get a 14-day free trial. No card information is required to start the trial.
After the trial, access ends automatically unless you choose to start a subscription. No automatic charge takes place.
Cancellation
You can cancel the subscription at any time inside the app or by contacting us at hei@sombook.no.
On cancellation, access to the account is kept until the end of the current billing period. After that, data is deleted after 30 days, so you have time to export what you need.
We offer no refund for an already paid period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Use of the service
You are responsible for ensuring that use of Sombook complies with applicable law. It is not permitted to use the service for purposes that are illegal, harmful or in breach of these terms.
You are responsible for keeping login information secure and not sharing it with unauthorised parties.
Sombook reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are misused.
Data responsibility
The clinic is the data controller for the personal data of its clients. Sombook is the data processor and processes data on the clinic's behalf.
A data processing agreement (DPA) is entered into when the subscription starts. The agreement is available on request.
All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the GDPR and Norwegian data protection law. See the privacy policy for how we process data, including the use of analytics tools on this website.
Limitation of liability
Sombook is provided «as is». We strive for high uptime and stability but cannot guarantee that the service is error-free or always available.
Sombook AS is not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue or other consequential damages arising from use of or lack of access to the service.
Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to change these terms. Material changes are notified at least 30 days in advance by email to the registered address.
Continued use of the service after changes have taken effect is considered acceptance of the new terms.
